Over 90% Of Ridgewood Seniors Have At Least 1 COVID Vaccine Dose
Just over 50 percent of the village is fully vaccinated, according to new state data.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Over 90 percent of Ridgewood seniors have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, but the community has a ways to go before reaching the 70 percent goal set by the state.
New data released by the New Jersey Department of Health breaks down how many people over 65 and over 18 have had at least one vaccine dose, and how many people in those groups are fully vaccinated.
This first batch of data was released on May 7, so it didn't include a category for children 12 and over, who can now receive the Pfizer vaccine after the Food and Drug Administration granted emergency use Monday.
