Police: Three Paterson Men Arrested on Drug Charges

Police say three men had cocaine.

Police say three Paterson men involved in a drug deal were pulled over by Ridgewood Police at about 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 7. Police in the village say Ptl. Jeffrey Casson spotted a vehicle that was said to have been involved in a drug transaction in Midland Park.

Casson pulled the vehicle over, searched and determined the two men in the car had cocaine, police say. Twenty-three year old Raulin Lopez was arrested and charged with posession of a controlled dangerous substance, hindering apprehension and being an unlicensed driver, authorities say. Lopez was turned over to the Paterson Police Department after posting $500.00 bail.

Two other men–Roberto Alicea, 29, and Igene Yejada, 36, both of Paterson–were charged with posession of a CDS and released pending a day in Superior Court, police say.
