Power Outages Reported In Ridgewood Amid Tropical Storm Fay
PSE&G reports 40 customers without power in the Village, as the tropical storm begins impacting Bergen County.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — As Tropical Storm Fay begins to impact Bergen County with heavy rain and flooding, PSE&G is reporting power outages in Ridgewood.
According to the company, 41 customers are without power in the village. The area hit hardest with outages is Hackensack, with PSE&G at one point reporting 3,162 outages.
PSE&G reports 4,053 customers affected across Bergen County.

The New Jersey Transit Main-Bergen County line reported delays of up to 20 minutes due to a downed tree across the tracks in Ridgewood.

The National Weather Service has flood advisory is currently in effect for Bergen County until 7:15 p.m. According to the NWS, Ridgewood, as well as Paramus, could experience minor flooding due to heavy rain.

The heaviest rain is expected in Bergen County between 4 and 10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
