Ridgewood Arts Foundation Offers Grants, Scholarships

In spite of the global coronavirs pandemic, the Ridgewood Arts Foundation announced 2020 grants and scholarships will be awarded.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — In a Friday, May 8 news release, the Ridgewood Arts Foundation announced that, despite the coronavirus pandemic, spring 2020 grants and scholarships will still be awarded.

"During this unprecedented time, RAF feels the obligation to help our community maintain a semblance of normalcy and routine. Therefore, we are honored to announce that we will be moving forward with our Spring 2020 scholarships and grants program for students, individual artists and arts organizations," reads the release.

The Foundation also announced the deadline for applications will be extended until June 1.

Middle school, high school or college students involved in fine or performing arts, as well as adult artists or art organizations with a connection to Ridgewood are encouraged to apply, according to the release.
