Ridgewood Charity Jamboree Is This Week
The annual performance generates thousands of dollars a year in scholarship money for Ridgewood students.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The 2019 Jamboree is this week.
Village residents perform on stage to raise money to help fund scholarships for Ridgewood High School seniors. The theme of this year is "Long Way Home."
The event has raised more than $1 million since it first began in 1947. Last year the event raised $132,000 for 23 students. More than 200 volunteers helped put the event on, including 20 students.

Tickets cost between $10 and $25. They can be purchased online or at the door. Performances are Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday.
