The Ridgewood Unitarian Society will hold a memorial Saturday marking the one year anniversary of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
The public is invited to attend the service Dec. 14 at 9:30 a.m., billed as a time to “share our common values of children and community.”
It comes a year after 20-year-old Adam Lanza fatally shot 27 people, including 20 children at the Connecticut school. The tragedy was one of the largest school shootings in American history.
