Ridgewood July 4th Fireworks, Parade, And More: 2018 Guide

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — If you're looking to catch an Independence Day fireworks show, parade, or any other related event in Ridgewood this year, look no further.

Check out information below of Independence Day celebrations and events for 2018 in Ridgewood.

The 108th annual Ridgewood Independence Day celebration is July 4. The theme is "Rockin' Ridgewood: Celebrating All-American Music."

The theme aims to celebrate the impact of music on American culture throughout history and highlight the talents of community performers and musicians.

The schedule is as follows:

• Flag raising, Wilsey Square, 9 a.m. Veterans from American Legion Post 53 will raise the flag. "To The Colors" and "The Star-Spangled Banner" will be performed.
• The annual parade begins at 10 a.m., rain or shine, at South Monroe Street and Godwin Avenue. Community groups may march in the parade. Click here for more information.
• Fireworks and entertainment, Veterans Field, gates are open from 6 to 9 p.m. The Stilettos, Take 4, and The Dad's Night Band will perform. Food and beverages will be sold. Rain date is July 5.

Tickets purchased at the gates cost $15 for adults, $10 for children 6 to 12 years old. Children 5 and younger will be admitted free. Tickets purchased in advance will be sold at a discount. Tickets may be purchased online, the library from June 25 to 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., or at the following locations:
