Ridgewood the Site of Anti-Smoking Commercial
Filming took place at Van Neste Square on Wednesday.

If you saw quite a bit of commotion downtown near Van Neste Square and were wondering what the heck is going on, we have the answers.
Production company "Today's Feature" took over the area to film an anti-smoking commercial for the American Cancer Society, multiple parties told Patch.
When we stopped by at around 3 p.m., actors playing construction workers gathered around a "high voltage" with smoke billowing from below. One actor, dressed in construction garb, could be heard authoritatively saying, "I quit here!"
In perhaps a twist of irony, the village council recently banned smoking from Memorial Park at Van Neste Square.
The crew should be done filming on Wednesday, according to permits.
