Ridgewood Touch-A-Truck Is Thursday

The free annual event gives Ridgewood kids the chance to get behind the wheel of some of the village's emergency vehicles.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Kids can get some hands-on experience with emergency vehicles at the village's annual Touch-A-Truck.

Kids can take a seat behind the wheel of a police cruiser, climb aboard a fire truck, and explore the village's other emergency and public works vehicle Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Memorial Park at Van Neste Square. Admission is free.

Touch-A-Truck is sponsored by the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce.
