Ridgewood's Playa Bowls To Donate Restaurant Sales To Cancer Fund

The Ridgewood and Englewood Playa Bowls locations will donate 10 percent of sales on Tuesday to Tomorrows Children's Fund.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — If you buy an acai bowl or smoothie at Playa Bowls tomorrow, you'll also be donating to a pediatric cancer fund.

The Ridgewood and Englewood locations of the smoothie shop will be donating 10 percent of sales to Tomorrows Children's Fund on Tuesday.

Those locations are co-owned by Francesco Stillitano, a Wyckoff resident.

According to a news release, the funds raised will be used by the non-profit to assist children and their families financially and emotionally as they begin their fight against cancer and serious blood disorders.

"We are so grateful to be partnering with Playa Bowls during this extremely important month where we work to raise awareness of Childhood Cancer and Serious Blood Disorders, as well as working to raise critical funds to assist our patients and their families with day do day expenses that are heightened by a devastating cancer diagnosis," said Nan Norbitz Kelly, Tomorrows Children’s Fund Executive Director.

Playa Bowls is located at 305 E. Ridgewood Ave. in Ridgewood, and 38 E. Palisdae Ave. in Englewood.
