WAYNE, NJ — A township athlete will compete in the 2019 Special Olympics of New Jersey.

Alex Feeley will participate in the unified pairs figure skating competition.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics New Jersey. Six participants from the Bayonne Recreation Department and 12 from the E.R. Johnstone Training center in Bordentown represented New Jersey at the Eastern Regional Special Olympics at the University of Maryland in 1969.
