100 Year-Old Purple Heart Recipient is July 4 Grand Marshall
Oradell Celebrates War Hero
Oradell was thrilled to celebrate long-time resident Herand Kafafian as this year's Grand Marshall of the July 4th parade. Kafafian, 100, is a WWII veteran who earned the Purple Heart for injuries he sustained.
He currently works as a volunteer at Holy Name Medical Center several times a week.
