2 Bergen Football Teams Ranked In National Top 25

These two 2 gridiron powerhouses will play one another Sept. 30.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Two county football powerhouses have been ranked in USA Today's Super 25 national poll.

Bergen Catholic quarterback Johnny Langan, wide receiver Dylan Classi and running back Josh McKenzie are all back on offense.

Aeneas Di Cosmos and Javontae Jean-Baptiste lead the defense.

Junior tight end Tyler De Vera from Wayne HIlls and senior linebacker Robert Snead are two key transfers.

St. Joseph won the state Non-Public Group 3 title last season. Nick Patti is back for a third year as starting quarterback.

Seniors Evan Stewart, Jaden Budka and junior Howard Cross will lead the Green Knights' defense.

The teams will play Sept. 30 at Bergen Catholic.
