Oradell's median salary is $64,055, a 10.5 percent increase over last year, 367th in New Jersey.

Overall, 232 school districts make more than the state median of $68,985, a 1.6 percent increase over last year. And it's not just the big towns or the regional districts that pay the most: Indeed, Millburn is a great place to get a teaching job, where the median salary is $92,784. So is Brigantine, which has a median salary of $93,649.
