Bergen Catholic Alum Signs To Play Football For Rutgers
Bryan Felter was named an All-American and first team all-state in 2019.
ORADELL, NJ — A Bergen Catholic alumnus and former all-star has signed to play football for Rutgers University.
Bryan Felter, an 6-foot 3-inch, 300-pound offensive lineman, was one of 17 recruits during the early signing period, the university announced Wednesday. Felter is one of 10 New Jersey players to agree to play for coach Greg Schiano.
Felter played for Rutgers assistant coach Nunzio Campanile when he was head coach of the Bergen Catholic Crusaders. He racked up an impressive list of accolades: He was named First Team All-New Jersey, First Team 2019 All-North Jersey by The Record, and First Team All-Bergen County earlier this year. He was the No. 13 ranked prospect in New Jersey by Rivals.com.
