Bergen Catholic To Battle For Football Supremacy In Special Tournament
The Crusaders will battle 20 other teams for a chance to play for the national championship at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
ORADELL, NJ — The Bergen Catholic Crusaders will play in a special 7-on-7 tournament this weekend sponsored by the New York Jets.
The team is one of 21 tri-state teams participating in the USA Football 7-on-7 Regional Tournament at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park.
The team has been placed in a pool with teams from New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, including DePaul Catholic, another North Jersey football powerhouse.

Games begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. The winning team will advance to the National Championship Series at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio July 21 and 22.
The teams will each attend a 20-minute presentation on life skills from Jets players and play in friendly games Friday.
