Developer's Agreement for Huffman Koos and Elementary School Budgets Coming This Week

MONDAY: The River Edge Mayor and Council meet at 7pm for a work session to approve a developers agreement for the development of the former Huffman Koos site. Also architect Peter Pulice will discuss the library roof replacement project.

TUESDAY: All offices at Temple Avodat Shalom  are closed today as synagogue members observe Pesach (Passover). Rabbi Neal Borovitz will lead services at 10am.

WEDNESDAY: The Oradell Mayor and Council are meeting at 7pm.

Both the River Edge and Oradell school boards will hold public hearings on their 2013-14 school year budgets at 7:30pm. According to the preliminary budgets, River Edge taxpayers will see a $70 increase while Oradell homeowners can expect a $43 hike.

THURSDAY: Begin celebrating Earth Day early by shopping at Eco Galleria at the Oradell Train Station now. All items are made in the USA with 80% of their stock made by American artisans. 

THE WEEKEND: The River Dell High School Softball Booster Club will be running there annual Easter plant and flower sale of: Lilies, Hydrangeas, Geraniums, Daffodils, Mums, Tulips, Azaleas and other plants, on March 29 and 30 from 9am to 4pm at the River Edge Fire Department, 695 Kinderkamack Road in River Edge. 

Also numerous houses of worship in River Dell will be conducting Easter Mass on Sunday. Check our listing of times for services.
