Dorothy Mae Zuber, 86, 55-Year Oradell Resident

ORADELL, NJ — Dorothy Mae Zuber (nee Clark), 86, a 55-year borough resident, died suddenly Thursday.

Zuber worked for Compton Advertising in Rockefeller Center in New York City where she became head of the department, her obituary states.

She married Kenneth Alan Zuber in 1952 and they lived in Oradell for 55 years. They were longtime members of Grace Church in Ridgewood and were involved in several activities there.

She will be remembered for her amazing hospitality, sense of humor and kindness, the obit states.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years; son Peter and his wife Ginny; daughter Jennifer and her husband Al Myhren; grandchildren Tim, Lauren, Kyle and Stephen; and seven great-grandchildren Grady, Gunnar, Jacoby, Grayson and Quinton.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m., with a brief service to follow, at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BrightFocus Foundation or the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation.
