Bergen County To Hold 7th Annual Project Homeless Connect

Bergen County Executive Kathleen A. Donovan and the Department of Human Services announces that Bergen County’s 7^th Annual Project Homeless Connect (PHC) will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 9:30 am to 4 pm at the Bergen County Housing, Health and Human Services Center located at 120 South River Street in Hackensack.  PHC is a one-day event which provides information, direct and referral services, assistance and hospitality in a convenient one-stop location for people experiencing homelessness. 

Highlights of the event will once again include one-stop access to information for Medicaid, food stamps, employment, legal services, HIV counseling, flu shots, and more.

Guest bags with donated gift cards, warm clothing, personal hygiene items and socks will be distributed to the participants. Donated services include haircuts and manicures, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
