Oradell First Annual K-9 Karnival

Sponsored by the Oradell Special Events Committee, this family oriented event for dog owners will be held on Sunday April 21 (rain date Sunday, May 5) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the parking lot of the Oradell Senior Center (behind Oradell Post Office).


Tail waggin' fun, puppy parade, adoption/rescue, great food and fun for the entire family.  Sponsorhip opportunities are available, please contact Dorith@efdfonline.net.


Puppy/Dog Parade Fees: There will be a fee of $3per Puppy/Dog. More than one pet - $5 in total.

The Costume Parade will starts at the Bank of America parking lot, walk around to the Senior Center and back to the Gazebo area. 


Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 in the following categories:

  • Smile; 


The participants will be judged by our “Celebrity Judges.”  Prizes will be awarded.


 


You are invited to gather and enjoy live music, Human and K-9 food vendors, dog related vendors, Kids and K-9 activities, an opportunity to meet & adopt a new friend with a tail from shelter/rescue groups, live demonstrations, guest speakers and lots of activities for all in a fun family oriented day.


Friendly Rules: 


All puppies and dogs MUST be licensed and have Rabies Vaccine current!


All puppies and dogs are required to be on a 6-foot leash or less at all time. No retractable leash is allowed!


You must clean after your dog. It’s the owners responsible for cleanup of any accidents, so please bring proper cleaning materials.


Participants must use good judgment in bringing your dog to the event. Please do not bring any dog who show aggression to other dogs or people!


Please consider your dog’s age, health his/her temperament and bring only dogs who are tolerant of loud noises, crowds, one-on-one people contact and other dogs.


Participants may walk only; no bicycles, scooters, skateboards, or roller blades are allowed.


Oradell Junior Girl Scout Troop# 993 will conduct theirPet Wish List Collection Drive towards their Bronze Award. The following list will benefit one or more of the Shelter and Rescue groups that will be participating at the event.
