Flu Shots Available from River Edge Borough, But Few Showing Up for Shots
Flu shots are available to residents 18 years of age and older at the Health Department.

With flu season giving New Jerseyans a hard time this year, River Edge officials are doing what they can to help residents cope with the malady, Town News reported.
Flu vaccines were made available to residents via the borough Health Department starting last fall. That campaign is not over—the vaccine is still available for those in need. But officials report few people are showing up to get the shot.
"The public nurse still has the vaccine, but we really have not seen anyone still coming in," River Edge Board of Health Secretary Adrienne Capasso told Town News. "It's been kind of quiet now."
