Cherry Hill School Crossing Guard Honored by Students with Crosswalk

The dedication of a crosswalk to Cherry Hill Crossing Guard, Joe Maugeri, was the brainchild of three fourth-graders who wanted to do something nice for the man who keeps them safe everyday. So, they wrote to Mayor Sandy Moscaritolo to petition him for his help.

Bill Providing $4.5 Million for Oradell Sewer Infrastructure Improvements Clears Committee

Legislation sponsored by Senator Bob Gordon that would provide the Borough of Oradell with $4.5 million in financing for sewer infrastructure upgrades within the borough – part of an effort to help local communities throughout the state finance much-needed water and sewer projects – was unanimously approved Monday by a Senate committee.

Oradell Opens Farmers Market Sunday

The Schieferstein Farm Market from Clark, N.J.  is coming to Oradell June 9 and will be providing fresh farm produce and products every Sunday through November 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the small parking lot at Schirra Park (across the street from the Post office). 

River Dell Girls Track Team Takes First State Championship

In a nail-biter of a relay race, River Dell's 4x400 relay team beat Haddonfield by tenths of a second to take the title.

River Dell Hawks See Best Baseball Season in 40 Years

The River Dell Hawks finished a stellar season ending with a 24-7 record, falling to St. Joe's in the final game of the Bergen County Baseball Tournament. This season's record ties the single season record for most wins and most games played in River Dell's history.
