'Knight at the Tony's' at Jersey Boys
New Milford celebrates the nomination of it's hometown boy, Rob McClure, nominated for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance as Charlie Chaplin.

The town of New Milford will be holding its breath Sunday night as their very own Rob McClure—graduate of New Milford High School in 2000—attends the Tony Awards as a first time nominee for Best Actor in a Musical for his much lauded role as Charlie Chaplin in Chaplin! The Musical.
Jersey Boys Bar and Grill, is hosting the special event starting at 8 pm. A “Knight at the Tonys” will bring together many of Rob McClure’s friends, past fellow students, former teachers, neighbors and students he himself has taught as a musical director, to watch the Tony Awards telecast in hopes that “one of their own” will win the coveted award.
Jersey Boys is donating a portion of the evening’s profits to the New Milford High School musical program for next year. The owners have known Rob McClure and his family for years.
