Longtime Broadcaster John E. Vidaver, 70, Of Oradell

Vidaver, 70, was a broadcaster for a number of New York radio stations and ABC television.

ORADELL, NJ — John E. Vidaver, 70, of Oradell died Monday.

He was a longtime broadcaster for a number of New York radio and television stations, including: WNEW-FM, WYNY-FM, WNCN-FM, WQXR-FM, CD 101.9, and ABC television.

He is survived by his wife Jo-Ann; brother Robert, and his wife, Virginia; nephews Robert, Patrick, and John; and niece Mary.

Visitation with the family is Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell.

A graveside service will Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wellwood Cemetery, 150 Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale, New York.
