The Nutcracker
Oradell and River Edge students to appear in holiday favorite, The Nutcracker.
Ballet Arts is offering a full length production of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, performed by the Ballet Arts Company and guest artist from American Ballet Theater's JKO school. The production features many local dancers from River Edge and Oradell: Madison Nichols, a senior at RDHS, will dance the lead role, Sugar Plum Fairy, on Friday, December 9; and Olivia Stewart, a sophmore at RDHS will dance the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy on Saturday, December 10. Partnering them as the Cavalier is guest artist, Jacob Clerico from ABT's JKO school in NYC. OPS student, Anna Sears will play Clara for both performances. Many students from Oradell and River Edge will play other roles, as well as several local adults playing the grown ups in the party scene.
