Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

Metro Hypnosis Center has been in business for seven years in Oradell. People seek hypnosis for many different reasons. Hypnosis can help with stress, anxiety, quitting smoking, losing weight, public speaking, fears, lack of confidence, sports improvement, test taking, medical hypnosis, grief, relationships, positive mindset, procrastination, focus, increase motivation and so much more.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

I had to temporarily close my physical office due to the new coronavirus. The good news is I now offer tele-health hypnosis sessions which is just as effective as in-person visits. Hypnosis can help people with fears, stress and anxiety. It is a great tool to help create calm in your life. I want to spread the word that I am still here and ready to help. I feel the call to help people so I started weekday meditation sessions at 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. sound and guided visualization.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

They can call 201-477-0265 and schedule hypnosis and sound sessions to work on a goal and remove a block. Group sessions to quit smoking or lose weight can be arranged with five or more people. I offer free consultations so I can show people what the experience is like.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

We are all strong and resilient and will get through this together.

Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?

On weekdays through May 15 I offer free meditation at 7:30 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. sound and guided visualization. People get to start and end their day with positivity and calm. In both sessions we send out positive thoughts to the world and reinforce positive affirmations. People enjoy learning coping techniques and how to bring in calm and relaxation into their lives. Great Foods Market in Oradell has been open throughout the coronavirus. They serve delicious quality foods, vegetables and fruits and best of all have curbside pickup.
