Shortly after that arrest, Sgt. David Gangemi saw a suspicious vehicle on Oradell Avenue that police thought was waiting for the suspect inside the bank, police said.

Two men, Ismael Pichardo, 20, of Queens, New York, and Tariq Roach, 21, of Bronx, New York, were in the vehicle and were uncooperative with police. Roach fled the vehicle and crossed Oradell Avenue toward Oradell Public School.

Gangemi and Officer Kyle Costa chased Roach while Officer Richard Liguori stayed with the driver, Pichardo.

Roach was found inside a resident's shed after an extensive search, police said. The suspect resisted arrest and struggled with Chief William Wicker, Lt. Richard Zdanowicz, Officer Costa, and a Paramus police officer.

Roach, Percy, and Pichardo were arrested, processed, and taken to the Bergen County Jail.

Percy had a fake Illinois driver's license and a credit card with the victim's personal information on it, Wicker said.

Percy, Pichardo, and Roach were each charged with identity theft, credit card theft, fraud, and theft by deception. Roach was also charged with resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. Pichardo was also charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
