Oradell Democratic Mayoral Candidate Is Top Vote-Getter
There were races for mayor, the municipal council, and the board of education in Oradell.

ORADELL/RIVER EDGE, NJ — Results are in for the 2019 Oradell municipal elections.
The results for Oradell mayor are:
Republican Michael L. Gardner: 870
Democrat Dianne C. Didio: 1,107

For the two Borough Council seats, the results are:
Democrat Miriam Yu: 1,010
Democrat John Plucinski: 939
Republican Stephen Carnevale: 1,108

For the three Board of Education seats, the results are:
Joseph Blundo: 555
Dorothy Watson-Nichols: 797
John A. Walsh: 784
Eugene Westlake: 722
Two people, Alan Feigenson and Barbara Kuchar ran unopposed for election to the regional board of education. Feigenson received 742 votes and Kuchar 893 votes.
All the River Edge races were unopposed this year.
Democrat Thomas Papaleo ran for mayor and Ellen Busteed and Lisa Montisanok-Koen, also Democrats, ran for municipal council.
Stephanie Hartman ran for election to the regional board of education and Caleb Herbst and Silvija Juskeliene ran unopposed for election to the local board of education.
