Oradell, River Edge Hosting 9/11 Ceremonies Wednesday
Several people from River Edge and Oradell were killed in the 9/11 terror attacks.
RIVER EDGE/ORADELL, NJ — River Edge and Oradell will host 9/11 memorial ceremonies Wednesday, the 18th anniversary of the terror attacks.
River Edge's will be at the Tenney Avenue side of Borough Hall at 6 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place in the Council Chambers.
Oradell's ceremony will be at 7 p.m. at the Fire Department headquarters.

The order of Oradell's ceremony will be as follows:
- Mayor Dianne Didio will welcome attendees
- Monsignor David Hubba of St. Joseph's Church will give the invocation
- Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will lead the pledge of allegiance
- Retired Major Eric Shuler will speak in remembrance and a moment of silence will occur
- Kiran Seligman of the River Dell High School marching band will perform "Taps."
- Didio and Chief William Wicker will lay a wreath
- Hubba will give the benediction
River Edge residents Jennifer Fialko, Todd Ouida, Scott Rohner, Christopher Allingham and Bon Seok Koo., and Oradell resident Brent James Woodall, 31, were killed in the terror attacks at the World Trade Center on 9/11, NorthJersey.com reported.
