Protest Planned Outside of Scott Garrett's Office Today

Garden State Equality upset about Garrett's recent comments about the National Republican Congressional Committee supporting gay candidates.

Garden State Equality, a prominent New Jersey gay rights organization, is slated to protest outside of Rep. Scott Garrett’s office today due to comments the congressman made recently regarding the National Republican Congressional Comittee supporting homosexuals.

The group will protest outside of Garrett’s office at 12:30 p.m., bluejersey.com reported.

Garrett has refused to pay his NRCC dues because, according to him, “it actively recruited gay candidates and supported homosexuals in primaries,” published reports have quoted him as saying.
