ORADELL, NJ — There is a fast, convenient way to get information from River Dell Regional High School.
School officials are urging parents and others to sign up to getting text messages from the district. The service is used only to notify users of an emergency, officials said.
Parents with a mobile phone number registered with the parent portal can opt-in for the service through their account.

Parents who do not have a mobile phone number registered on parent portal can log on to the service an update their "contacts" section, officials said.
Once registered, users can opt in by texting "YES" at 67587.
