River Dell Setter's Club Team Heads to National Championship in June
Kalette deMarrais and the Digs Red 17 club volleyball team recently earned a spot in the USA Volleyball's National Championships

If spiking the competition during the winter in Washington, DC was not enough, the Digs Red 17 club volleyball team, featuring River Dell Lady Hawk setter Kalette deMarrais, recently earned a spot in the USA Volleyball's National Championships.
Over Easter weekend, the team competed at USA Volleyball's Northeast Qualifier in Philadelphia, one of a few qualifying tournaments held nationally to qualify for USA Volleyball's National Championships.Â
The DIGS 17 Red team played in the elite Open Division and finished in fourth place overall after falling to North Texas club TAV 17 Black.Â

To qualify, the Digs beat several powerhouse teams from California, Texas, and Pennsylvania among others. The fourth place finish made the Digs one of 32 teams in the country to compete at Nationals this June in Dallas, Texas. It also marked the first team in the Region's history to qualify for the National Championships in the Open Division.
At Nationals, Digs 17 will face teams from across the country from June 28 through July 5 at the Dallas Convention Center.
