Bruce Springsteen Sells Rumson Mansion for $3.2M

The estate, at the corner of Bellevue and Ridge Road, was his remaining property in Rumson.

RUMSON, NJ - Bruce Springsteen has quietly sold his remaining Rumson estate for $3.2 million, according to Zillow.com sales records, first reported by NJ.com.

The Georgian-style estate, at the corner of Bellevue and Ridge Road, was purchased by the Boss in 1983 and it's where Springsteen and wife Patti Scialfa raised their three children. It was not listed for sale on the open market.

The buyers are another Rumson couple who live on Ridge Road, according to the report.

Springsteen has been quietly unloading his Rumson properties for a while now: As Patch reported last spring, Springsteen sold another property he owned — located directly across the street from Rumson Country Day School on Bellevue Avenue — to Oklahoma City Thunder guard/Villanova star Randy Foye. That was a five-acre, 3,700-square-foot estate built in 1904 and assessed at $1.96 million.

The Boss' main home these days is a massive, 368-acre horse farm in Colts Neck.
