2 Candidates To Run For Scotch Plains Township Council
Republican Deanna Del-Bene and Democrat Matthew Adams are both vying for the one unexpired seat left open when Josh Losardo became Mayor.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Monday was the deadline to file for the upcoming primary election in June and two candidates have announced their intention to run for the one Scotch Plains Township Council seat.
Republican Deanna Del-Bene will face Democrat Matthew Adams in the November election for the one unexpired seat left open when Josh Losardo became Mayor.
The term for the seat will continue until November 2022 when it will again be contested for a full four-year term.

The primary election will occur on June 8 and the general election will occur on Nov. 2.
