The Tai Chi program, hosted by the College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains is open to the public and will be presented via zoom at 7:30pm on April 19th. Anyone interested in learning about Tai Chi/Qigong and giving it a try can receive a link for the program by sending a request to tishisack17@gmail.com

Christine Hoyer holds First Degree Black Belts in International Taekwondo, Kung Fu and Tai Chi. While she learned the arts of Tai Chi and Qigong from the martial aspects, she now focuses her own practice and teaching on the meditative side. She describes it as "meditation in slow motion that allows you to move out of your head, into your body and connect you to your own breath and energy. This non-impact exercise offers many benefits including building strength, balance, flexibility and coordination. It is beneficial for your heart, breathing, and immune function."
