Flood Watch Issued Friday For Union County
Flooding could occur urban, low lying, and poor drainage areas as well as minor river flooding is possible on fast responding streams.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — A flood watch has been issued for Union County through Friday evening by the National Weather Service.
An area of low pressure and warm front will lead to the potential for around one to one and a quarter inches of rain across areas that remain quite saturated due to prior rainfall events, according to the NWS.

Today: Rain, mainly before 5 p.m. High near 56. Southeast wind 5 to 11 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of rain, mainly before 7 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 45. West wind 7 to 10 mph.
