Game #1

Winning team: RunAsOne (53)

Best Performance of the Day by an individual 6’6” or taller goes to RunAsOne rookie Charles Lott, who dominated the paint with 18 points on 9 of 12 shooting, to power his team to a hard-fought win over the undersized, but, game Goonies. Fellow first-year standout Bryan Stitt (10), Capt. Jason Shann (9), and guard R.B. Alverna (6) earned honors as the Best Supporting Cast Ensemble. The Best Performance of the Day by a player in a losing cause was turned in by the Goon’s Joe DeGennaro, who was spectacular, finishing with 25 points (10-12 from the floor). Backcourt running mate Greg Shea notched 13 to help get Radar back on the playoff map. Capt. Steve Murray netted 13, fab frosh Joe Ruocco threw in 12, Eric Lai and Brendan Ryan each tallied 6 for the Sonics, who saw their six-game winning streak snapped.

Game #3
Winning team: Draymond (53)
Losing team: Team 8 (35)
The rest of the league is green with envy, as Draymond likely cemented the top-seed for the post-season, with a convincing triumph over Team 8. Diaper dandy Taj Belfield receives the golden statue for Best Performance of the Day by a newcomer, as he poured in 19 pts to propel Dray, now alone atop the standings. Capt. Jamal Berry, whose 17 markers and near triple-double rewards him with the Best All-Around Performance of the Day, and Vic Bauer (6 pts) were also pivotal as Draymond held the high-flying T8 to its lowest point production of the winter. Rory Schulman (12) and Capt. Blake Sonnek-Schmelz (10) reached double-digit scoring in the loss, while Mike Ruccio added 6.
