Help Fund Union County Olympian's Parent's Journey To Rio

Union Catholic High School has set up a fundraiser to help defray travel costs of the parents of a student to the Olympic Games in Brazil

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Union Catholic High School student, Sydney McLaughlin is heading to the Olympics in Rio and needs your help.

The school has set up a fundraiser to help defray travel costs associated with her parent's travel to the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

McLaughlin, Union Catholic Class of 2017, will be competing in Track and Field in the women's 400m hurdles as the youngest member of the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Team.

Just under $4,800 has already been raised.

Donations may be made online through PayPal or by check made payable to Union Catholic High School - write Rio Olympic Travel Fund in the subject line of the check and mail check donations to: Rio Olympic Travel Fund, c/o Union Catholic High School, 1600 Martine Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
