Michael Gabriele to Present “NJ Diners” at Scotch Plains Library

On Thurs, Oct 24 at 7pm, author Michael Gabriele is back at the library to revisit the delicious history of classic NJ diners.

From the lunch wagons of the 1890s to today, diners have served as cherished settings for New Jerseyans to celebrate milestones, form lifetime bonds, and take comfort in food.

On Thursday, October 24 at 7pm, author Michael Gabriele is back at the Scotch Plains Public Library to revisit the delicious history of classic New Jersey diners and indulge our fond memories. Books will be available for purchase. Registration is recommended.

Gabriele is a lifelong New Jersey resident and a graduate of Montclair State University. He is the author of The Golden Age of Bicycle Racing in New Jersey and has worked as a journalist for over 35 years. He is a member of the executive board of the Nutley Historical Society and is on the advisory board of the Clifton Arts Center.
