Photography Exhibit at the Library, Clothing Drive at Park Middle School

What's happening today in Scotch Plains and Fanwood.

Sen. Booker campaigns for Beckerman: On Saturday, newly sworn in Senator Cory Booker will come to Scotch Plains to campaign with Council Candidate Lou Beckerman. Booker will headline a campaign rally at Beckerman Campaign Headquarters at 1761 E. 2nd Street at 4:30 p.m.

Park Middle School clothing drive: 
Park Middle School PTA is offering the perfect opportunity to clean out your closets. In collaboration with A&E Clothing Corp., who distributes the items around the world, the school PTA has organized a clothing drive to be held on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in front of Park Middle School, 580 Park Avenue, Scotch Plains. 

Photography exhibit opens at the Scotch Plains Library: Fine art photography, including New Jersey landscapes by Peter D'Alessandria, will be on display in the downstairs gallery during library hours.

Sensory story time at the Scotch Plains library: Sensory story time is a new interactive and educational program for all children, but is especially designed for those with sensory integration challenges and their families.  If your child has difficulty sitting through one of the library's other story times or is just more comfortable in a small, interactive group, this program of stories, songs, and activities may be just the thing. Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
