Scotch Plains, Fanwood Athletes Competing in NJ Special Olympics

The athletes will compete in multiple snowshoeing events.

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ — Two Scotch Plains and Fanwood athletes will compete in multiple events at the 2019 Special Olympics of New Jersey at Mountain Creek in Vernon.

Connor Savoca of Fanwood is participating in the snowshoeing 4x100 meter relay, snowshoeing 200 meter, snowshoeing 400 meter, and time trial snowshoe Tuesday.

Angel Skolar of Scotch Plains is participating 4x100 meter relay, snowshoeing 200 meter, snowshoeing 400 meter, and time trial snowshoe.
