The Scotch Plains Public Library’s book clubs are back via Zoom!
On Monday, April 12 at 7 pm, the Evening Book Club will discuss The Splendid and the Vile by Erik Larson. In this work of narrative nonfiction, Erik Larson shows, in cinematic detail, how Churchill taught the British people "the art of being fearless."
On Tuesday, April 20 at 1 pm, the Afternoon Book Club will discuss All the Single Ladies: Unmarried Women and the Rise of an Independent Nation by Rebecca Traister. All the Single Ladies is a remarkable portrait of contemporary American life and how we got here, through the lens of the single American woman.

If you have not attended previous meetings of the Evening or Afternoon Book Clubs, please register. The library will send the Zoom link prior to the meeting. Unfortunately, at this time, the library cannot obtain additional copies of the book from other libraries.
