Become empowered with reliable, up-to-date information on health topics, without leaving your home or office. Taught by Astera Cancer Care specialists and other local medical experts, this series of online presentations address some of the most pertinent areas in cancer treatments and advancements.

On Thursday, June 3 from 12-1 pm via Zoom, Beiqing Pan, MD, a Medical Oncologist with Astera Cancer Care, and Laura Bond, MD, a Radiation Oncologist with Steeplechase Cancer Center, will present a talk on breast cancer. Topics will include: What causes breast cancer? Is there anything you can do to prevent breast cancer? They will discuss symptoms, screening, diagnosis, and treatment options.

A better understanding of cancer-related conditions and how they can be managed is possible, so please plan to join the Scotch Plains Public Library for this continuing series. Participants are welcome to submit general questions for the doctors in the registration form. Please note: the doctors presenting will not be able to offer personal medical advice to attendees during this program.
