Spooktacular 5K Run To Be Held Oct. 28

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Union Catholic High School will host its 7th annual Spooktacular 5K Run & 1 Mile Children's Costume Trek on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Check-in and registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the race will start at 9 a.m. at 1600 Martine Ave. in Scotch Plains.

There is a $20 registration fee for entrants who register before Oct. 21 ($25 after that). Register online at www.raceforum.com/unioncatholic.

In addition to the 5K, there will be a 1-Mile Children's Costume Trek at 8:30 a.m. T-shirts will be given to the first 250 entrants, post-race food and refreshments are also included.

The 5K race is a USATF certified course through Scotch Plains streets ending on Union Catholic’s turf track complex. And the 1 mile trek is contained within Union Catholic's turf track.
