Star Wars Virtual Reality Experience Opens At Jersey Gardens Mall

Guests can battle droids and other creatures in the arcade-style VR training experience to see how they stack up against other players.

ELIZABETH, NJ — Arriving from a galaxy far, far away a new Star Wars virtual reality (VR) experience, called Lightsaber Dojo, just arrived at The Mills at Jersey Gardens.

The experience is open now through Feb. 20, 2020 at the mall at 651 Kapkowski Rd in Elizabeth — just in time for the newest Star Wars movie premiere. Tickets are $9.99 per person, available at walk-up kiosk.

Adapted from ILMxLAB’s award-winning Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, Lightsaber Dojo is a standalone arcade-style virtual reality training experience. With the use of Oculus Quest headsets, Lightsaber Dojo invites guests to sharpen their skills with the Force and a lightsaber against waves of training droids and other Star Wars creatures.

Players will receive their score and will be added to a national leaderboard which determines their rank amongst other players.

Guests that would like to continue their training at home can purchase a limited-time bundle that includes the Oculus Quest headset and all three episodes of Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series.
