Tiny Tim Fund Board thanks community for Carol Night support

Community members who participated in the Tiny Tim Carol Night in December helped to make the fundraiser a success for the Tiny Tim Fund

The members of the Scotch Plains- Fanwood Tiny Tim Fund Board extends sincere thanks to all those who participated in the annual Carol Night fundraiser on December 5th. and made it a successful fundraiser for the organization. In addition to the residents who shared holiday spirit and solicited donations that evening, donations continued to be received from groups and individuals throughout the month of December. All funds submitted will enable the Tiny Tim Fund to continue its mission of helping local families. Special thanks are extended to the proprietor of the Stage House Inn and Tavern in Scotch Plains for providing a warm room as the collection site for the donation canisters and a place for carolers to enjoy refreshments provided by the members of the Tiny Tim Board and the Stage House Inn.

The Tiny Tim Fund is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to children of Scotch Plains and Fanwood in need of medical or dental services, psychological testing, prescriptions or medical supplies and equipment. The organization was established in 1983 and is run by a volunteer board of Trustees comprised of residents of Scotch Plains and Fanwood with diverse backgrounds in fields such as education, medicine, religion, social work and business.

The annual Carol Night is the organization's only fundraiser each year. Donations sent in by groups and individuals during the year will enable the fund to continue to make a difference for families in need.
