This Week at the Scotch Plains Public Library

There are plenty of things for adults to do at the Scotch Plains Public Library this week!

On Monday, September 16 at 7 pm, the Evening Book Club will discuss Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. The Afternoon Book Club will meet on Tuesday, September 17 at 1 pm to discuss Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. No registration is required for these discussions.

Later in the week, join fellow Downton fans for a “tea party” on Thursday, September 19 at 7 pm. Bring your own teacup to make a teacup candle. While the wax sets, watch the documentary The Manners of Downton Abbey, where Alastair Bruce, historical Downton Abbey advisor, takes viewers on a journey through 1900s Britain and shows how he got all those details right on the show. This week’s Friday Film will be Long Shot starring Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen, Join movie lovers downstairs at noon on Friday, September 20 to watch this sharp comedy. No registration required.
