There are plenty of things for adults to do at the Scotch Plains Public Library this week!
On Monday, September 16 at 7 pm, the Evening Book Club will discuss Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. The Afternoon Book Club will meet on Tuesday, September 17 at 1 pm to discuss Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. No registration is required for these discussions.
Later in the week, join fellow Downton fans for a “tea party” on Thursday, September 19 at 7 pm. Bring your own teacup to make a teacup candle. While the wax sets, watch the documentary The Manners of Downton Abbey, where Alastair Bruce, historical Downton Abbey advisor, takes viewers on a journey through 1900s Britain and shows how he got all those details right on the show.
