YMCA is ready for a summer of fun, friend and fantastic memories

Is your child ready for an unforgettable summer full of fun, friends and fantastic memories? The Summer Camp Team at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA is ready! The Y is currently gearing up for its 2021 Summer Camp program for students entering kindergarten through grade 6, with online registration now open at fspymca.org/register.

Safety remains the number one priority at Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA Summer Camp, while still offering the same engaging, skill-building, educational and fun activities kids love. Camp will be held from June 28-August 27, 2021 and children can enroll in one, two, three or all nine weeks of camp!

“Last summer, we hosted 60 children in our camp program and had an amazing time with updated health and safety protocols in place that allowed for a successful camp season,” said Katie Lizer, the Y’s School Age Child Care and Camp Director. “This year, we are looking forward to engaging children in activities that enhance social and leadership skills, build self-esteem, engage them in physical activity, stimulate learning, and that just allow them to be kids after what has been a stressful and uncertain year.”

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA is offering several camp options for 2021. Full Day options include: Discovery Camp for students entering Kindergarten; Explorer Camp for students entering grades 1-3, and Adventure Camp for students entering grades 4-6. Half-day Specialty Art and Sports Camps are also available.
