Accident on Meadowlands Parkway, Access To Rt. 3 West Closed

SECAUCUS, NJ — Important: As of 3:20 p.m. Monday, access to Rt. 3 west from Meadowlands Parkway is currently closed.

There is currently a pole down on Meadowlands Parkway in Secaucus Monday afternoon, and that's why residents can hear a lot of sirens and a low-flying helicopter hovering above town.

The pole went down near Riverside Court on Meadowlands Parkway and access to Riverside Court is currently closed off.

Most importantly, you cannot currently access Rt. 3 west from Meadowlands Parkway, said Secaucus Mayor Mike Gonnelli.

Cars are being allowed to get off Rt. 3. But access to Rt. 3 west from Meadowlands Parkway is currently closed.
