Coronavirus Temporarily Closes Several Popular Secaucus Eateries

The coronavirus has now forced some of the most popular restaurants in Secaucus to temporarily close their doors.

SECAUCUS, NJ — The coronavirus pandemic has now forced some of the most popular restaurants in Secaucus to close their doors, although all say it is temporary and they plan to re-open once the virus threat is over.

Nearly all the businesses that are temporarily closing said it was because they did not want their employees to get sick.

Plaza Pizza in the center of town will be closed through April 14, an employee said Friday afternoon. Like all restaurants statewide, Plaza Pizza could only be open for takeout. But it was still getting too crowded and risky inside, said the employee.
